Do you have a passion for people and care about helping others live fulfilling lives? We are looking for individuals who share Quarriers values. The What If Female Service provides practical and emotional support to young women aged years in single occupancy flats predominantly in the North of Glasgow.

The young women supported have been homeless, experienced trauma and poor attachments and have complex support needs, such as poor mental health, self harming behaviours, addictions and difficulty building relationships with others. Quarriers have Investors in People Platinum accreditation and are one of only two social care organisations in Scotland to have this prestigious award.

Elements could include assessment, training, counselling, advice, support and advocacy. The service offers 24 hour support supplied by a sleepover shift and an On Call service as well as a management On Call response.

Due to the nature of this service, this post is female only, and is exempt under Section 9 2 b of the Employment Sex Discrimination Act Where applicable, successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date.
