Working in my current job, is very rewarding, but on a daily basis it is quite hectic, with a tight schedule of interviews to carry out. My colleagues and I have a strong team spirit and we always support each other. We have to achieve results, so knowledge of new courses and vacancies has to be upto date in order to move as many of the benefit claimants back into work. The best part of the job is when customers call to say that their job interview was successful and they will be starting work soon, and express their gratitude.

When dealing with vulnerable people of all ages, they were only concerned about reducing unemployed numbers to look good and their own comfort and sick days off, There was little intellect or indeed any compassion for the clients. Most spent their leisure time in the pub and some staff were period alchoholics. Yes There are 7 helpful reviews 7 No There are 1 unhelpful reviews 1. The people working are extremely friendly however, the management is not so great.

Jobcentre Plus is a government-funded employment agency and social security office that can be found in most cities, whose aim it is to help people of working age find employment in the UK. Jobcentre Plus provides resources to enable job-searchers to find work, through Jobpoints touch-screen computer terminals , Jobseeker Direct telephone service and the Jobcentre Plus website. They offer information about training opportunities for the chronically unemployed.
